Ingredients- 1 block Mokwoo-chon Homemade Ham
- 1 bottle Mokwoo-chon Whole Grain Mustard
- Cooked rice, enough for 2 servings
- Pinch of salt
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1.5 Tbsp vinegar
- A few sprigs of water parsley (minari)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
In a bowl, combine 2 servings of warm cooked rice with 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1.5 tablespoons of vinegar, and a pinch of salt. Gently mix using a spatula or spoon, being careful not to mash the rice grains. This seasoning will form the base of your delicious sushi rice. It’s best to let the rice cool slightly so it doesn’t become too sticky.
Step 2
Slice the Mokwoo-chon Homemade Ham as thinly as possible. Thin slices ensure a pleasant texture when eaten with the rice and are less overwhelming. Aim for slices about 2-3mm thick.

Heat a non-stick pan over medium-low heat without any oil. Lightly grill the thinly sliced ham on both sides until it’s just slightly golden or warmed through. This enhances the ham’s flavor without making it dry. Avoid overcooking.

Step 5
