Main Ingredients- Spam (canned or sliced) as needed
- 1/2 Onion
Sauce- 2-3 Tbsp Tomato sauce or Rosé sauce (adjust to taste)
- 2-3 Tbsp Tomato sauce or Rosé sauce (adjust to taste)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare the spam. If using canned spam, open the can and remove the spam, then cut it into your desired size.
Step 2
For easier eating and better sauce integration, dice the spam into bite-sized cubes, similar to how you’d cut kimchi. You can make them smaller if you prefer. Slice the onion into pieces roughly the same size as the spam.
Step 3
Lightly grease a heated pan with cooking oil. Add the diced spam and stir-fry until it turns golden brown. The key is to cook the spam until it’s slightly crispy from its own rendered fat.
Step 4
Once the spam is nicely browned, add the sliced onion to the pan and stir-fry together until the onion becomes translucent.
Step 5
Now, add about 1 to 2 tablespoons of your store-bought rosé sauce (or tomato sauce) to the pan. Stir well to coat the spam and onions, continuing to cook as the sauce mixes in. Keep an eye on the heat to prevent burning and ensure the sauce doesn’t reduce too much.
