Main Ingredients- 1 block soft tofu (approx. 300g)
Sauce & Topping- 1 king oyster mushroom (small)

- 5 Tbsp tomato sauce

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Begin by carefully opening the package of soft tofu. Once opened, place the tofu on a sieve to drain any excess water, or transfer it to a separate bowl for later. This step helps achieve a better texture for your gratin.
Step 2
Now, let’s prepare the flavorful sauce. Finely chop the king oyster mushroom, onion, and bacon. Lightly oil a pan and add the chopped ingredients. Sauté over medium-low heat until the vegetables are softened and the bacon has released some of its fat.
Step 3
Once the vegetables appear translucent and fragrant, stir in the 5 tablespoons of tomato sauce. Continue to cook for another 1-2 minutes, allowing the sauce to meld with the vegetables and deepen its flavor.

In an oven-safe dish or an air fryer-safe container, place the drained soft tofu. You can either slice it into pieces or gently mash it to create the base layer of your gratin. This soft tofu layer will be the creamy foundation of your dish.

Spoon the prepared sauce mixture evenly over the layer of soft tofu. Ensure all the delicious vegetable and tomato sauce mixture covers the tofu completely.

Add another layer of soft tofu on top of the sauce. This creates a more substantial and satisfying gratin.

Finally, generously sprinkle 60g of mozzarella cheese over the top. Place the gratin in a preheated air fryer set to 180°C (350°F). Cook for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden brown. Serve immediately while warm and delicious!
