After simmering it with a savory sauce, it turned out wonderfully soft and delicious! This recipe transforms stiff seaweed into a melt-in-your-mouth delight. First, cut the dried seaweed into bite-sized pieces, about 5x5cm or 6x6cm. Cutting them too small might cause them to break apart during simmering, so aim for a suitable size.

Place the cut seaweed sheets in a preheated pan over medium-low heat and lightly toast them on both sides. This helps to remove any fishy smell and enhances their nutty flavor. Toast for about 1 minute, being careful not to burn them.

Once the seaweed is lightly toasted, increase the heat to high and add the measured 100ml of water. Bring it to a boil. Boiling over high heat allows the seaweed to absorb the sauce more effectively.
