Ingredients

  • 2 Snow Crab bodies
  • 1.5 packs Ramen noodles
  • A little bit of Green Onion (chopped)
  • 1/2 Tbsp Miso paste

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Start by bringing water to a rolling boil in a pot. Add the 2 cleaned snow crab bodies and 1/2 tablespoon of miso paste to the water. The miso paste will help to enhance the crab’s natural sweetness and add a subtle depth to the broth.

Step 1

Step 2

Once the water is boiling vigorously, add the 1.5 packs of ramen noodles. Be sure to include all of the dried vegetable packet that comes with the ramen for added texture and flavor. For the soup base powder, add only half of it initially. You can always add more later to adjust the saltiness to your preference.

Step 2

Step 3

To achieve perfectly chewy noodles, use the ‘lift and dip’ technique! Repeatedly lift the noodles out of the boiling water with your chopsticks and then lower them back in. This process helps to cool the noodles slightly and prevents them from becoming mushy, resulting in a delightful springy texture. Continue this for about 3 minutes while the ramen cooks.

Step 3

Step 4

Just before the ramen is fully cooked, stir in the chopped green onions. The fresh, slightly pungent flavor of the green onions will add a wonderful brightness to the broth. Let it simmer for another moment to allow the flavors to meld together. Your delicious snow crab ramen is now ready to enjoy!
