Smoked Duck and Egg Pancake
Master in the House: Smoked Duck and Egg Pancake Recipe
When my husband comes home late and hasn’t eaten, I quickly whip this up using frozen smoked duck. Since we can’t go to restaurants due to COVID, he’s been going hungry. This dish is a quick and satisfying meal that’s perfect for those late nights or whenever you need a simple yet delicious dish.
Main Ingredients- Smoked duck slices 70g
- 3 Fresh eggs
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, cut the smoked duck slices into bite-sized pieces, about 2-3cm, making them easy for everyone to eat and ensuring a pleasant texture when cooked. Place the cut smoked duck into a dry pan (no oil needed) and stir-fry over medium-low heat. This process enhances the duck’s natural flavor and renders excess fat, resulting in a leaner, more delicious outcome.
Step 2
Once the smoked duck has released some of its flavorful fat, gently push the duck to one side of the pan. Crack the 3 eggs into the cleared space. You can lightly scramble the yolks to let them spread naturally, or leave them whole for a soft-boiled center. As the eggs begin to set, cover the pan with a lid and continue to cook over low heat. This gentle cooking allows the duck’s savory essence to infuse into the eggs, creating a rich and tender egg pancake. Finally, sprinkle a pinch of parsley flakes over the top for a touch of color and aromatic freshness. Plate it beautifully and serve warm!
Step 3
Your delicious Smoked Duck and Egg Pancake is ready! The chewy smoked duck combined with the soft, flavorful eggs makes for a truly satisfying dish that’s perfect as a snack or a hearty meal.
