  • 1 can of tuna, drained
  • 1 bowl of warm rice

Seasoning Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 Tbsp gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
  • 2 Tbsp vinegar
  • 0.5 Tbsp mirin (or cooking wine)
  • 0.5 Tbsp sugar
  • 0.5 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 0.5 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp water

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, place one bowl of warm rice into your bibimbap serving bowl. Arrange it nicely without pressing down too much, so the rice grains remain distinct.

Step 2

Generously top the rice with your handful of mixed fresh vegetables. Then, add the drained canned tuna on top. Using a variety of colorful vegetables will make your bibimbap look even more appealing.

Step 3

In a small bowl, combine the gochujang, gochugaru, vinegar, mirin, sugar, minced garlic, sesame oil, and 1 tablespoon of water. Mix well with a spoon to create the seasoning sauce. Add the sauce to your bibimbap according to your preference, then mix everything together and enjoy. It’s truly that simple!
