  • 1ml sugar (approx. 1/5 tsp)
  • 2.5ml minced garlic (approx. 1/2 tsp)
  • 7.5ml sesame oil (approx. 1.5 tsp)

Cooking Instructions

Step 2

Boil about 1 liter of water using an electric kettle or stovetop kettle. Once the water is boiling, carefully pour the hot water over the spinach in the bowl. Blanch the spinach for about 10 seconds, then immediately transfer it to a bowl of cold water to stop the cooking process and preserve its crispness.

Step 3

Drain the spinach from the cold water and gently squeeze out as much excess water as possible with your hands. In the same bowl, add all the seasoning ingredients: soy sauce, salt, sugar, minced garlic, and sesame oil. Gently mix and toss the spinach with the seasonings until everything is well combined. Finally, sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds for a beautiful finish. Your delicious seasoned spinach is ready!
