Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Let’s start by preparing all the ingredients for your delicious shrimp open-faced sandwich. Wash the lettuce leaves thoroughly under running water and pat them dry. Prepare the raw shrimp by cleaning them.

For the shrimp, remove the heads and peel off the shells. In a clean bowl, place the shrimp. Add 1 pinch of salt, 1 pinch of black pepper, and 1 tablespoon of cooking wine (like mirin or sake). Gently mix everything together to marinate the shrimp. The cooking wine will help eliminate any fishy odor and enhance the flavor.

Heat a pan over medium heat and melt about 1 piece (around 10g) of butter. Once the butter is melted and fragrant, add the marinated shrimp to the pan and spread them out evenly.
