When you’re craving a delicious meal but dread doing the dishes, this one-pan brunch recipe is your perfect solution. It’s incredibly simple to make, using just one pan, and allows you to enjoy a variety of brunch favorites all at once. Elevate your mornings or weekends with this easy and satisfying dish!
Ingredients- 1/2 Onion
- 4 Button Mushrooms
- 4 Frankfurters/Sausages
- 3 Strips Bacon
- 2 Eggs
- 4 Slices Bread
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, let’s prep our ingredients. Thinly slice the onion. Remove the stems from the button mushrooms, and quarter the caps. Score the frankfurters lightly with a knife. Cut the bacon into bite-sized pieces, about 2-3 cm long.

Now, let’s start cooking! Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add the bacon and cook until it’s golden brown and crispy. The rendered bacon fat will add wonderful flavor to the other ingredients.
Step 3
Once the bacon is nicely cooked, remove it to the side of the pan or set it aside briefly. Add the button mushrooms, sliced onion, and frankfurters to the rendered bacon fat. Sauté these ingredients until the vegetables are tender-crisp and the sausages are lightly browned. It’s best to maintain medium heat during this step.
Step 4
When all the ingredients are sautéed, gently push them to one side of the pan. Create an open space and crack the eggs into it to fry. Cook the eggs to your desired level of doneness.
Step 5
If you prefer a runny yolk (sunny-side up), cook them as they are. For a fully cooked yolk (over-hard), simply cover the pan with a lid for about 30 seconds after cracking the eggs. The steam will gently cook the yolk through.
Step 6
We’re almost there! Arrange the slices of bread in the remaining empty space in the pan. The residual heat and fat from the bacon and sausages will toast the bread, giving it a delicious, savory flavor, almost like a quick French toast. Once everything is heated through and cooked to perfection, artfully arrange it on a plate and enjoy your hearty and flavorful one-pan brunch!
