Ingredients- Oats: 6 tablespoons (rolled oats or quick oats work well)
- Milk: 100g (or your preferred dairy-free alternative like soy or almond milk)
- Banana: 1 piece
- Honey: 1 tablespoon (optional, for sweetness)
- Almonds: 10 pieces
- Cacao nibs: 2 tablespoons (optional, for added texture and flavor)
- Blueberries: 15 berries
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Start by adding 6 tablespoons of oats to your container or jar. You can use rolled oats for a chewier texture or quick oats for a softer consistency.
Step 2
Pour 100g of milk over the oats. Feel free to adjust the amount of milk to achieve your desired consistency – add a little more if you prefer it thinner.
Step 3
Secure the lid on your container and refrigerate for at least 4 to 6 hours, or preferably overnight. This allows the oats to soften and absorb the liquid beautifully.
Step 4
In the morning, top your overnight oats with your favorite fresh fruits. I’ve added 1 banana and about half a handful of blueberries for a lovely balance of sweetness and tang.
Step 5
Add your preferred nuts for a satisfying crunch and healthy fats. I’ve included 10 almonds, and for an extra boost of flavor and nutrients, 2 tablespoons of cacao nibs.
Step 6
Finally, drizzle 1 tablespoon of honey over the top if you desire a touch more sweetness. Your delicious and nourishing overnight oats are now ready to enjoy!
