Key Ingredients- Jin Ramen 1 packet
- Silken Tofu 1/2 block (approx. 200g)
- Green Onion 10g, chopped
- Water 550ml
- Black Pepper a pinch
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare one packet of Jin Ramen. Open the packet and set aside the noodles, soup base, dried vegetable flakes, and the flavor enhancer block (garlic and pepper).
Step 2
Cut half a block of silken tofu into approximately 1-2 cm thick pieces. Finely chop the green onion.
Step 3
Pour 550ml of cold water into a pot and add the ramen noodles. Adding the noodles to cold water allows them to cook evenly and absorb the broth’s flavor as it heats up.
Step 4
Add the soup base and dried vegetable flakes from the Jin Ramen packet into the pot. Bring to a boil over high heat for about 4 minutes, uncovered. Refer to the package instructions for cooking time, but adjust as needed based on the water amount.
Step 5
Once the water starts boiling vigorously, reduce the heat to medium. Use chopsticks to gently separate the noodles, ensuring they don’t stick together.
Step 6
For chewier noodles, try lifting and dropping the noodles with chopsticks periodically while cooking. This technique helps to aerate the noodles, giving them a firmer texture.
Step 7
About 30 seconds before the ramen is fully cooked, add the prepared silken tofu and chopped green onions to the pot. Stir gently to avoid breaking the tofu. Turn off the heat at this point.
Step 8
Transfer the finished Silken Tofu Ramen to a serving bowl. Finally, add the garlic and pepper flavor enhancer block that came with the ramen and stir slightly. Your spicy and creamy Silken Tofu Ramen is now complete! Enjoy the remaining broth mixed with rice for a truly satisfying meal.
