Main Ingredients

  • 2 Eggs
  • 25 Vienna sausages
  • 1 cup Ground pork
  • 1 Red bell pepper
  • 1 Onion
  • 4 Shiitake mushrooms
  • 1/4 Broccoli head
  • 1/3 Carrot
  • 1 Tomato
  • 10 cloves Garlic

Seasoning & Others

  • 2 slices Butter
  • 400g Tomato sauce
  • 1 cup Water
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Sprinkle of parsley flakes
  • Sprinkle of Parmesan cheese

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Chop all vegetables into bite-sized pieces that are easy for children to eat. You can make decorative cuts on the Vienna sausages for a more appealing look.

Step 1

Step 2

In a wide pan, melt 2 slices of butter over medium-low heat. Sauté the thinly sliced garlic until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Step 2

Step 3

Push the sautéed garlic to one side of the pan. Add the ground pork and sprinkle with black pepper. Stir and cook until the pork turns a light brown color.

Step 3

Step 4

Add all the prepared vegetables (red bell pepper, onion, shiitake mushrooms, broccoli, carrot), except for the minced garlic, to the pan. Sauté for about 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender. They should soften but not become mushy.

Step 4

Step 5

Add the Vienna sausages and sauté with the vegetables for another 1-2 minutes. The sausages will brown slightly and add to the flavor.

Step 5

Step 6

Pour in the chopped tomato, 400g of tomato sauce, and 1 cup of water. Stir everything together to combine.

Step 6

Step 7

Stir all the ingredients evenly with a spatula, then bring to a simmer over medium heat until it bubbles. Let it cook until the sauce thickens slightly and the flavors meld together.

Step 7

Step 8

Once the sauce is simmering, create two small wells in the center of the pan and carefully crack an egg into each. Cook until the egg whites are about halfway set. The residual heat will continue to cook the eggs as you eat.

Step 8

Step 9

Finally, sprinkle with parsley flakes and Parmesan cheese for a beautifully finished ‘Eggs in Hell’! This dish is delicious served with bread or rice.
