First, bring a generous pot of water to a rolling boil. Once boiling, add 1 tsp of salt. Carefully place the spaghetti into the water, ensuring it doesn’t clump together. Cook for about 8 minutes, or until al dente (refer to package instructions for precise timing).

While the pasta is cooking, prepare your ingredients. Cut the bacon into bite-sized pieces, about 1-2 cm wide. Slice the green onion, separating the white and green parts. The white parts will be used for flavor, and the green parts for garnish.
