Main Ingredients- 2 blocks Acorn Jelly (Dotorimuk)
- 300g Assorted Namul (blanched and prepared)
- 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
- 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce (Ganjang)
- 5 Tbsp Perilla Seed Powder
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare the vegetables for the namul salad. Finely chop the scallions, and thinly julienne the carrot and onion. In a pan, combine perilla oil (2 Tbsp), tuna extract (1 Tbsp), and soup soy sauce (2 Tbsp). Add the prepared vegetables and mix gently with your hands to coat them evenly with the seasoning. Stir-fry until the vegetables are well combined.
Step 2
Stir-fry the vegetables until they are slightly wilted. You’ll know they’re ready when the onions turn translucent and are cooked through. Be careful not to overcook, as this can make the vegetables mushy.
Step 3
Once the vegetables are cooked, turn off the heat. Finish with a drizzle of sesame oil and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds. Set the stir-fried vegetables aside to cool.

Now, let’s prepare the acorn jelly. Cut the acorn jelly into bite-sized cubes, about 1.5 cm. In a bowl, add the cubed acorn jelly, 1 Tbsp of sesame oil, and 1 Tbsp of soy sauce. Gently toss to season the jelly. This pre-seasoning will enhance the flavor.
