Rich & Flavorful! Beef Intestine Basil Pesto Spaghetti
A Unique Twist: Beef Intestine Basil Pesto Spaghetti Recipe
A combination that sounds mouthwatering just by imagining it! The chewy texture of beef intestine, fragrant basil pesto, and smooth spaghetti noodles come together to create an exceptionally delicious dish. We’re introducing a beef intestine basil pesto spaghetti that you can enjoy elegantly at home.
Main Ingredients- Spaghetti, 1 serving
- Prepared beef intestines, 400g
- Basil pesto, 3 Tbsp
- Dried chili peppers (peperoncino), 3 pieces
- Minced garlic, 1 Tbsp
- Coarse salt, to taste
- Whole black pepper, to taste
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, bring a generous pot of water to a boil with a pinch of coarse salt. Cook the spaghetti until it’s about 70-80% done, aiming for al dente. (It will be sautéed further in the pan later!)
Step 2
In a separate pan, place the prepared beef intestines and sauté over medium heat until golden brown and slightly crispy. If too much fat renders out, gently wipe it away with a paper towel for a cleaner taste.
Step 3
Once the beef intestines are beautifully browned, push them to one side of the pan. Add the minced garlic and peperoncino to the cleared space and sauté until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic. Then, stir in the basil pesto and mix well.
Step 4
Sauté the cooked beef intestines with the basil pesto sauce. Add the pre-cooked spaghetti to the pan and toss thoroughly to coat the noodles evenly with the sauce. At this stage, adding a little pasta water or olive oil will help the sauce emulsify smoothly and cling to the pasta. Finally, season with coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper to your preference.
Step 5
Plate the finished beef intestine basil pesto spaghetti beautifully. Garnish with a few fresh basil leaves for an elegant presentation. Enjoy your unique and delicious pasta!
