Ingredients- 200g Tomatoes or Cherry Tomatoes
- 3 strips Bacon
- 5-6 cloves Garlic
- 3 Tbsp Basil Pesto

Step 1
First, prepare the ingredients. Cut the bacon into bite-sized pieces and thinly slice the garlic into slivers to enhance the garlic aroma.

Wash the tomatoes or cherry tomatoes thoroughly under running water and pat them dry. If using large tomatoes, feel free to chop them into large pieces.
Step 3
Heat a generous amount of olive oil in a pot or deep skillet over medium-low heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté gently until fragrant and lightly golden, being careful not to burn it. This step infuses the oil with a wonderful garlic essence.
Step 4
Once the garlic is fragrant, add the cut bacon to the pot. Cook together until the bacon is nicely browned and has rendered some of its delicious fat, which will combine with the garlic for a richer flavor.

As the bacon cooks, add a pinch of freshly ground black pepper. The pepper will add a subtle kick and enhance the overall savory notes of the soup.
