Main Ingredients- 2 bowls of cooked rice
- 1 can (180g) tuna, drained
- 100g cabbage
- 10g perilla leaves (깻잎)
- 20g carrot
Spicy & Sweet Bibimbap Sauce- 2 Tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 Tbsp oligosaccharide (or corn syrup)
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Sesame seeds, for garnish

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Thinly shred the cabbage. Using a mandoline slicer can make this process quicker and more uniform.
Step 2
Roll the perilla leaves tightly and then thinly slice them. This preparation enhances their texture and flavor in the bibimbap.
Step 3
Julienne the carrot. Adding carrots will provide a lovely color contrast and a pleasant crunch to the dish.

Drain the canned tuna thoroughly using a sieve. Removing excess oil will prevent the bibimbap from feeling greasy and ensure a clean taste.

In a small bowl, combine all the sauce ingredients: 2 Tbsp gochujang, 1 Tbsp oligosaccharide, 1 tsp soy sauce, 1 tsp sesame oil, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Mix well until evenly combined.

Portion the cooked rice into individual serving bowls, one bowl per person.

Generously top the rice with the prepared vegetables. Start with a good amount of shredded cabbage, followed by the sliced perilla leaves and carrots.
