Main Ingredients- 1 Frozen Tomato
- 1 pack Coconut Water (330ml)
- Honey to taste (1 stick if using stick honey)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Prepare fresh tomatoes. It’s important to wash the tomatoes you’ll be using for the smoothie thoroughly.
Step 2
Freeze the clean tomatoes until they are rock hard, like ice. This step is key to creating the smoothie’s refreshing texture.
Step 3
If you pre-cut the tomatoes into manageable pieces before freezing, it will be much easier to blend them later. Handle the firmly frozen tomatoes carefully on a cutting board when cutting.
Step 4
Roughly chop the frozen tomatoes into pieces that will fit easily into your blender. You don’t need to cut them too small.
Step 5
Prepare one pack (330ml) of coconut water, which will add a refreshing flavor. Coconut water softens the tomato’s taste and adds nutrients.
Step 6
Get your honey ready to adjust the sweetness. Using stick honey makes measuring and adding it very convenient. Adjust the amount of honey according to your preference. (If using regular honey, about 1-2 tablespoons)
Step 7
Pour the coconut water into the blender first. Adding the liquid first helps the ingredients blend smoothly without clumping. Then, add one frozen tomato and one stick of honey (or to your liking).
Step 8
Blend until the ingredients are finely pureed, adjusting the blender’s speed as needed. Ensure it’s blended thoroughly for a smooth and uniform texture.
Step 9
Thanks to the frozen tomatoes, you’ve created a smooth and chilled drink, just like a refreshing smoothie.
Step 10
Now your home becomes a Funstaurant! Your healthy and delicious ‘Tomato-Coco Smoothie’ is ready.
Step 11
Isn’t the soft, pale pink color lovely? Each sip fills your mouth with a delightful coolness and sweetness. While tomato-based drinks can be polarizing, this smoothie is enjoyable for everyone, young and old. Especially in the morning, it can make you feel lighter throughout the day. It’s highly recommended as a ‘bloating-reducing secret drink’ with excellent de-puffing effects!
