  • 2 cups cold water (400ml)
  • 1 cup ice cubes (adjust to preference)
  • A pinch of sesame seeds (for garnish)

Cooking Instructions

First, let’s prepare the seasoning base for the cold soup. In a bowl, combine 4 tablespoons of sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 6 tablespoons of vinegar. Stir well with a spoon until the sugar and salt are completely dissolved. Let it sit for a moment for the flavors to meld.

Rinse the rehydrated seaweed thoroughly under running water, then squeeze out excess water. Cut it into bite-sized pieces, about 1cm wide. Wash the cucumber well, cut it in half lengthwise, and then slice it thinly into strips about 0.3cm thick. Thinly sliced cucumber provides a better texture.
