  • Cooking Time : Within 15 minutes
  • Difficulty : Anyone

Ingredients

  • 10 stalks of Water Parsley (fresh)
  • 1/2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1/3 Tbsp Soy Sauce for Soup (low-sodium baby soy sauce recommended)
  • 1/2 tsp Minced Garlic
  • Pinch of Baby Salt (adjust to taste)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Trim off about 3cm from the bottom of the water parsley stalks. To ensure cleanliness, soak them in water with a splash of vinegar for about 10 minutes. After soaking, rinse thoroughly under running water and then cut them into 2-3 sections for easier handling.

Step 1

Step 2

Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil. Briefly blanch the prepared water parsley for only 40 seconds to 1 minute. This short blanching time is key to preserving its crisp texture.

Step 2

Step 3

Immediately after blanching, rinse the water parsley under cold running water to cool it down (a cold water shower). This helps maintain its vibrant green color and crispness. Gently squeeze out as much water as possible from the blanched parsley with your hands.

Step 3

Step 4

Finely chop the water parsley into small, bite-sized pieces suitable for your baby. If the pieces are too long, they might be difficult for your baby to chew and swallow, so chopping them finely will make it easier for them to enjoy.

Step 4

Step 5

Place the chopped water parsley in a bowl. Add 1/2 tablespoon of sesame oil, 1/2 teaspoon of minced garlic, and 1/3 tablespoon of low-sodium soy sauce. Add a very small pinch of baby salt, adjusting the seasoning to your baby’s preference.

Step 5

Step 6

Finally, sprinkle a little toasted sesame seeds over the mixture. Gently toss and mix everything together with your hands until the seasoning is evenly distributed. Your delicious Minari Muchim is ready to serve!
