Refreshing Moscow Mule Cocktail Recipe
Easy Homemade Moscow Mule Cocktail / The Perfect Blend of Spicy Ginger and Zesty Lime!
I made a Moscow Mule using the homemade ginger syrup I prepared earlier! The spicy aroma and tingly taste of ginger, combined with the vibrant tartness of lime and the effervescent fizz of soda, are incredibly thirst-quenching just thinking about it! It’s the perfect drink to cool down with on a warm day.
Ingredients- 1 oz (30ml) Vodka
- 20ml Ginger Syrup
- 20ml Lime Juice
- Club Soda or Sparkling Water, to top
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
If using fresh limes, wash one lime thoroughly and cut it in half. Set aside one half to juice, and cut the other half into wedges for garnish.
Step 2
Juice the reserved half of the lime. You should get about 15ml of fresh lime juice. If you are using store-bought lime juice, measure out 20ml.
Step 3
Take a 350ml (12 oz) glass, often a copper mug for a traditional Moscow Mule. Add the lime juice (15ml fresh or 20ml store-bought) and the ginger syrup (20ml). Stir gently with a bar spoon until well combined.
Step 4
Fill the glass generously with ice. If you used fresh lime juice, you can squeeze the reserved lime wedge over the drink before placing it in the glass as a garnish.
Step 5
Top the glass with club soda or sparkling water. Stir very gently, just once or twice, to mix the ingredients without losing too much carbonation. The key is to preserve the fizz!
Step 6
Finally, add your prepared garnish, such as a lime wedge or a sprig of mint, to the glass. Your delicious and refreshing Moscow Mule cocktail is now complete. Enjoy!
