Ingredients
  • 1 whole raw chicken
  • 1 packet of ramen broth powder
  • Cooking oil, as needed

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, rinse the whole raw chicken under running water. To help eliminate any gamey odors, you can add a splash of soju or beer to the water and soak the chicken for about 10 to 15 minutes.

Step 2

After soaking, thoroughly pat the chicken dry with paper towels, ensuring both the inside and outside are completely free of moisture. Then, brush the chicken all over with cooking oil (such as olive oil or vegetable oil). Sprinkle the ramen broth powder evenly over the entire chicken, inside and out, and gently rub it in to ensure it adheres well.

Step 3

The chicken will start to turn reddish as the ramen broth powder coats it evenly. Make sure to use the entire packet of ramen broth powder to get the full flavor. This step is key to infusing the chicken with that unique taste.

Step 4

Place the prepared chicken in your air fryer basket. Air fry at 180°C (350°F) for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, check the chicken. The top side should be golden brown. Flip the chicken over and air fry for another 15 minutes at the same temperature (180°C/350°F) to ensure it’s cooked through.

Step 5

Your Air Fryer Ramen Broth Chicken is ready in just 30 minutes! It boasts a wonderfully crispy exterior, a tender and juicy interior, and a subtly spicy, savory flavor from the ramen broth. It’s perfect as a snack or a meal!
