This oatmeal is incredibly easy to make but packed with nutrients, making it a healthy and delicious breakfast option. Its satisfying texture and nutty flavor are delightful.
Base Ingredients- Oatmeal (steamed or toasted oats) 100g (approx. 1 cup)
- Milk 200ml (approx. 1 cup)
- Honey or sugar (optional) 1 Tbsp
- Salt a pinch
- Pepper a pinch
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
In a microwave-safe deep bowl, add 100g (about 1 cup) of oatmeal. Stir in 1 tablespoon of honey or sugar, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of pepper until well combined. Mixing the seasonings beforehand ensures the oatmeal is evenly flavored and tastier.
Step 2
Pour in 200ml (about 1 cup) of milk and stir again to thoroughly mix the ingredients. Place the bowl in the microwave and heat for about 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Adjust the cooking time based on your oatmeal type and microwave power. The oatmeal is ready when it has a thick, porridge-like consistency. If it’s too stiff, add a little more milk; if too thin, microwave for another 30 seconds to thicken.
Step 3
Top the finished oatmeal with your choice of nuts (almonds, walnuts, chopped peanuts, etc.) or dried fruits. Nuts add a delightful crunch and nutty flavor, while dried fruits contribute a touch of sweet and tartness for a more complex taste.
