Main Ingredients

  • 1 Tortilla
  • A little Bell Pepper (using different colors makes it more appealing!)
  • 1/4 Onion
  • 1/4 Carrot
  • 8 Vienna Sausages
  • A little Oyster Mushrooms
  • 1/2 Roma Tomato or ripe Tomato
  • Plenty of Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 slice Cheddar Cheese

Sauce & Seasoning

  • 2-3 Tbsp Store-bought Tomato Sauce (for pizza)
  • A little Parmesan Cheese (optional)
  • A little Hot Sauce or Sriracha Sauce (omit for kids’ version)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare the vegetables, sausages, and mushrooms for the pizza. Finely chop the bell pepper, onion, and carrot into bite-sized pieces. Briefly blanch the Vienna sausages in boiling water, then slice them into thin rounds (about 0.5 cm thick). Gently separate the oyster mushrooms into strands. If using fresh tomatoes, remove the seeds and dice them.

Step 1

Step 2

Place one tortilla on a large plate or cutting board. Spread a generous layer of the store-bought tomato sauce evenly over the tortilla, leaving a 1-2 cm border around the edge. Don’t be shy with the sauce – it adds to the deliciousness!

Step 2

Step 3

Evenly sprinkle the chopped vegetables (bell pepper, onion, carrot) over the tomato sauce-covered tortilla. Next, artfully arrange the sliced Vienna sausages and the separated oyster mushrooms on top. Be mindful not to overload the pizza, as this can affect cooking time and evenness.

Step 3

Step 4

Now for the cheesy goodness! Sprinkle a generous amount of mozzarella cheese all over the pizza. Then, tear the cheddar cheese slice and scatter it over the mozzarella for added flavor and richness. Finally, artfully place the diced tomatoes on top for a touch of freshness and color. If you like, sprinkle some grated Parmesan cheese for an extra nutty flavor.

Step 4

Step 5

Preheat your air fryer basket (at 180°C / 350°F for about 3 minutes). Carefully place the tortilla pizza into the preheated air fryer. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for approximately 7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the tortilla edges are golden and crisp. Cooking times may vary depending on your air fryer model, so keep an eye on it and adjust as needed. Once cooked, drizzle with hot sauce or sriracha if desired for an extra kick!
