How to Make Delicious Konjac Jelly Muk Bowl, 5-Minute Recipe Using Konjac
Hello everyone! Today, I’m thrilled to introduce a super simple recipe you can make in just 5 minutes. Let me share a low-calorie yet delicious konjac jelly muk bowl recipe that’s both healthy and satisfying!
Main Ingredients- 200g firm konjac jelly
- 1 packet chilled Naengmyeon (cold noodle) broth
- 1 fresh egg
- 1 spicy Cheongyang chili pepper
- 1 Tbsp vinegar
- A handful of crispy seasoned seaweed (gim)
- A bit of crunchy cucumber
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
※ Tip: This is a basic recipe, but feel free to add more colorful vegetables or toppings you have on hand for an even richer and more delicious experience! (e.g., radish sprouts, julienned carrots, a pinch of minced garlic). Don’t worry if you’re missing some ingredients; the konjac itself is wonderfully satisfying!
Step 2
Rinse the konjac jelly thoroughly under running water. Then, blanch it in boiling water for about 1 minute. This step helps remove any faint odor from the konjac and enhances its chewy texture. After blanching, rinse the konjac under cold water, drain well, and cut it into bite-sized pieces (about 1cm wide).
Step 3
Pour the chilled Naengmyeon broth into a large bowl. Halve the boiled egg and arrange it beautifully. Julienne the cucumber and place it neatly on top. If you like a bit of spice, finely chop the Cheongyang chili pepper and sprinkle it as a garnish. Generously top with the seasoned seaweed, cut into strips. For an extra touch of tanginess, drizzle in 1 tablespoon of vinegar.
Step 4
Finally, add plenty of ice cubes for a refreshing finish! You can enjoy it immediately, but chilling it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes will deepen the flavors. The combination of chewy konjac and cool broth is exquisite. This konjac jelly muk bowl is simple yet incredibly satisfying, making you want to make it again and again. Give it a try!
