  • Cooking : Seasoned mix
  • Servings : 2 servings
  • Cooking Time : Within 10 minutes
  • Difficulty : Anyone

Main Ingredients

  • Pickled radish for kimbap, 9 strips (approx. 270g)
  • Scallions, 5-7 stalks (approx. 20g)

Seasoning Ingredients

  • Red pepper flakes, 0.5 Tbsp (approx. 3g)
  • Sugar, 0.5 Tbsp (approx. 5g)
  • Vinegar, 0.5 Tbsp (approx. 5ml)
  • Toasted sesame seeds, a pinch (approx. 1g)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the kimbap-style pickled radish briefly under running water and gently pat dry. Cut it into bite-sized pieces, about 4-5cm long. This ensures the seasoning coats evenly and makes it easy to eat.

Step 1

Step 2

Place the cut pickled radish in a bowl. Add 0.5 Tbsp of sugar, 0.5 Tbsp of red pepper flakes, and 0.5 Tbsp of vinegar. Since the pickled radish is already seasoned, it’s best to start with minimal seasoning. You can taste and adjust if needed.

Step 2

Step 3

Gently mix the ingredients with your hands, tossing the radish to coat it evenly with the seasoning. Be careful not to mix too vigorously, as this can break the radish. Mix for about 1 minute until the radish takes on a nice, light red hue.

Step 3

Step 4

Finely chop the scallions. Add the chopped scallions and toasted sesame seeds to the seasoned radish and mix gently. The crisp texture of the scallions and the nutty aroma of the sesame seeds will enhance the flavor. Your delicious seasoned pickled radish is ready! You can enjoy it immediately, or chill it in the refrigerator for a refreshing taste. Enjoy your meal!
