Ingredients
- 2 Ciabatta loaves
- Canned corn, as needed
- Tomato pesto, as needed
- Mozzarella cheese, as needed
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, gather all your pizza-making essentials: two ciabatta loaves, a can of corn, tomato pesto, and a generous amount of mozzarella cheese.
Step 2
Open the can of corn and drain it thoroughly in a sieve. This step is crucial to prevent your pizza from becoming soggy.
Step 3
Using a serrated bread knife, carefully slice each ciabatta loaf in half horizontally. Be gentle to avoid crumbling the bread.
Step 4
Spread a layer of tomato pesto evenly over the cut surface of each ciabatta half. This adds a wonderful base flavor.
Step 5
Generously sprinkle the drained corn over the tomato pesto. The sweetness of the corn will beautifully complement the other flavors.
Step 6
Now, top the corn with plenty of mozzarella cheese. Don’t be shy – the more cheese, the better!
Step 7
Place the prepared pizzas into a preheated oven set at 200°C (390°F) and bake for 7-8 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the ciabatta is golden and crisp. Keep an eye on them as oven temperatures can vary.
Step 8
Voila! Your delicious ciabatta square pizzas are ready. Enjoy the crispy bread and the glorious, stretchy cheese. They pair perfectly with a cup of coffee or a glass of milk. A fantastic snack or quick meal solution!
