Step 1
Remove the eggs from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before cooking to bring them to room temperature. This helps prevent cracking and ensures even cooking.

Fill a pot with enough water to fully submerge the eggs. Add 1 tsp of coarse salt to the water; this helps to prevent the egg white from leaking out if the shell cracks. Once the water reaches a rolling boil, gently place the 6 eggs into the pot using a ladle. Maintain high heat and boil for exactly 8 minutes.
Step 3
After 8 minutes, immediately drain the hot water and transfer the eggs to a bowl of cold water (ice water is even better). Let them soak for about 2-3 minutes to cool down.
