Main Ingredients- 1 block tofu
- 200g salad greens
- 5 cherry tomatoes
- 1/4 yellow bell pepper
- 1/4 orange bell pepper
- 3 Tbsp cooking oil
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of black pepper
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, wash the salad greens thoroughly under running water. To keep them fresh longer, it’s helpful to soak them in cold water for about 10 minutes.
Step 2
After 10 minutes, drain the greens and place them in a colander to remove excess water. It’s important to dry them completely, as remaining water can dilute the dressing.
Step 3
Now, let’s make a delicious oriental dressing! In a bowl, combine 2 Tbsp olive oil, 2 Tbsp soy sauce, 2 Tbsp vinegar, 1.5 Tbsp lemon juice, and 2 Tbsp sugar.
Step 4
Add 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds and 1 Tbsp minced garlic. Whisk with a whisk or spoon until the sugar is completely dissolved. This will create your flavorful basic oriental dressing.

Remove the stems from the cherry tomatoes, wash them, and then cut them in half. Bite-sized pieces are best for easy eating.

Wash the yellow and orange bell peppers, remove the seeds, and slice them thinly into strips about 0.3cm thick. Their vibrant colors will make the salad look more appealing.

Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes, about 2-3cm each. If they are too large, they can be difficult to eat.

Gently pat the cubed tofu with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This step helps prevent oil splatter when frying and results in a crispier texture. Lightly season with salt and pepper.

Heat 3 Tbsp of cooking oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the seasoned tofu and pan-fry until golden brown and crispy on all sides. The goal is a crispy exterior and a tender interior.

Place the browned tofu on paper towels to absorb any excess oil. This will make the tofu even more delicious and less greasy.
