  • 1 slice Whole wheat bread
  • 1/2 to 1 ripe Avocado
  • 2 Tbsp Whole cherry tomatoes
  • 1 pack Chicken breast (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of dried parsley

Step 1

First, prepare your whole wheat bread. Heat a pan over medium heat and toast the bread slices until they are golden brown and slightly crispy on both sides. A perfectly toasted bread is the foundation of a delicious toast.

To prepare the avocado, remove the pit and skin. Place the avocado flesh in a bowl. You can microwave it for about 2-3 minutes to soften it, making it easier to mash. Add a pinch of salt to taste while mashing. I find using a fork works best for a smooth, creamy texture.
