Adding salt not only enhances the vibrant green color but also helps keep the broccoli crisp. Boil for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, then immediately rinse with cold water and drain well. (Tip: You can trim the tough bottom part of the broccoli stem and use it in other dishes.)

Cut the blanched broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Shred or cut the imitation crab meat into similar sizes. Grind the almonds in a blender until finely powdered. (Tip: Grinding the almonds adds a nutty flavor and helps the sauce coat the broccoli evenly.)
