Main Ingredients
  • 10g Zucchini (thinly julienned)
  • 10g Carrot (thinly julienned)
  • 3 sheets Baby-friendly seaweed (thinly julienned)
  • 1 serving Somyeon noodles (broken into bite-sized pieces)
  • 15g Minced beef

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare the zucchini and carrot by thinly julienning them; this adds lovely color to the dish. Also, thinly julienne the baby-friendly seaweed. For the somyeon noodles, it’s helpful to break them into bite-sized pieces before cooking, making it easier for your baby to eat.

Step 2

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the julienned zucchini and carrot, and cook for about 3 minutes until they soften slightly. Then, add the broken somyeon noodles and cook for another 3 minutes. Once everything is cooked, gently rinse the noodles and vegetables under cold running water. This helps maintain a pleasant, firm texture and prevents the noodles from becoming mushy.

Step 3

After draining the noodles and vegetables well, drizzle 1 teaspoon of baby-friendly soy sauce over them – choose a soy sauce formulated for infants. Add 1 teaspoon of sesame oil for a wonderful aroma and nutty flavor. Adjust the amount of soy sauce according to your baby’s age and taste preferences.

Step 4

Finally, gently mix the noodles and vegetables with the seasonings, being careful not to mash the vegetables. You want them to retain some texture. Top the dish with the thinly julienned seaweed and some pre-cooked, savory minced beef. This creates a nutritious and appealing meal that your baby will surely love!
