- 1 Tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Whole Grain Mustard
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- Pinch of Black Pepper (to taste)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Start by washing and preparing all the ingredients. Core the apple and peel the carrot. If your potato is already boiled, you’re one step ahead!
Step 2
Dice the apple, carrot, boiled potato, and imitation crab sticks into bite-sized cubes (about 1cm). Place all the chopped ingredients into a large mixing bowl.
Step 3
Now, let’s make the dressing. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, whole grain mustard, lemon juice, and a pinch of black pepper. Whisk until smooth.
Step 4
Pour the prepared dressing over the ingredients in the large bowl. Gently toss everything together using a spatula or spoon, ensuring all ingredients are evenly coated without getting mashed. (Tip: For the freshest taste and crunchiest texture, it’s best to toss the salad right before serving!)
Step 5
Mound the deliciously mixed salad into a serving bowl. Your nostalgic fruit salad is ready! It’s simple yet beautiful, making it perfect for guests or as a special treat for children.
