Napolitan Pasta Ingredients- Spaghetti: 100g
- Onion: 1/3 medium
- Green bell pepper: 1/2 medium
- Sausage: 1
- Ketchup: 1/3 cup (approx. 80ml)
- Button mushrooms: 2
- Salt: a pinch
- Black pepper: a pinch
- Grated Parmesan cheese: a pinch
- Olive oil: a little
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil and add 1 tablespoon of salt. Add the spaghetti and cook for about 8 minutes, or 1 minute less than the package instructions suggest. Cooking it al dente (slightly firm to the bite) is recommended to prevent it from becoming too soft. Drain the cooked spaghetti and set aside.
Step 2
Wash the onion and green bell pepper, remove the seeds, and slice them into thin strips. Slice the sausage diagonally into bite-sized pieces, and thinly slice the button mushrooms. Cutting the vegetables into similar sizes ensures they cook evenly and look appealing.

Heat 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil in a wide pan over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and green bell peppers first and sauté until they become translucent and fragrant.
