Ingredients

  • 1 bottle of wine (preferably a sweeter variety)
  • 1 mulled wine kit
  • 1 Tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 Tbsp honey (adjust to taste)

Cooking Instructions

First, purchase your wine and mulled wine kit! For the wine, it’s best to choose a sweet variety. I found my mulled wine kit by searching on Naver.

Pour the entire bottle of wine into a pot.

Add the mulled wine kit to the pot. It typically contains dried fruits, star anise, and cloves, so you don’t need to add any other ingredients!

Initially, bring the mixture to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 15 minutes.

After simmering, stir in 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 tablespoon of honey. Continue to simmer for another 5 minutes. Your delicious mulled wine is ready!

If your wine isn’t sweet enough, feel free to add more sugar. I bought a slightly bitter wine, so I added 3 extra tablespoons of sugar to achieve my desired sweetness!
