Main Ingredients
  • 2 bite-sized Tteokgalbi patties
  • 2 mini burger buns
  • 2 slices of cheese (cheddar or your favorite) or 2 Tbsp cheese spread
  • A handful of fresh leafy greens (lettuce, romaine, etc.)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Let’s start with the star of our mini burgers! Prepare the bite-sized Tteokgalbi patties, preferably from frozen. Microwave them for about 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes until warm and tender. Adjust the time based on the thickness of the patties and your microwave’s power. For an even richer flavor, you can briefly pan-fry them.

Step 2

Now, let’s get the buns and fresh greens ready. Slice the mini burger buns in half. Wash the leafy greens thoroughly and pat them completely dry with paper towels or a salad spinner. Ensuring the greens are dry will prevent the buns from becoming soggy and maintain their fresh crispness.

Step 3

It’s time to assemble these beautiful Tteokgalbi mini burgers! On the bottom half of each bun, place a slice of cheese or spread a thin layer of cream cheese or mayonnaise. Then, add the warm Tteokgalbi patty on top, followed by a generous portion of the fresh leafy greens. Finally, place the top half of the bun to complete your delicious and visually appealing Tteokgalbi mini burger!
