Easy Microwave Steamed Egg Recipe: A Simple and Quick Egg Dish

Ingredients- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp mirin (rice wine)
- 1/2 cup water (approx. 100ml)
- A small amount of chopped green onion
- A small amount of chopped carrot

First, let’s gather all the ingredients for our steamed eggs. You’ll need 3 fresh eggs, 1/2 cup (about 100ml) of water for a tender texture, 1 teaspoon of salt for flavor, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar for a hint of sweetness, and 1 tablespoon of mirin (rice wine) to enhance the flavor and reduce any eggy smell. We’ll also add some finely chopped green onions and carrots for color and nutrients. Feel free to customize the vegetables based on your preference!

Grab a microwave-safe bowl that’s large enough to hold the mixture. Crack the 3 eggs into the bowl. Add the 1/2 cup of water, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of mirin. Whisk everything together gently with a fork or chopsticks until the eggs are well combined and the salt has dissolved completely.
