Homemade Grape Juice Recipe (No Juicer Needed!)
Simple and Delicious Homemade Grape Juice
Have too many grapes and worried they’ll go bad? Turn them into delicious juice! This recipe shows you how to make fantastic grape juice at home by boiling, even without a juicer. Perfect for a healthy and refreshing drink! ♡
Ingredients- 4 bunches of fresh grapes
- 1 cup (200ml) water
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Start by thoroughly washing your grapes. Carefully remove the individual berries from the bunches. Soak them in a solution of water and baking soda for about 5 minutes. This helps to remove any surface impurities. After soaking, rinse the grapes under running water 3-4 times and then drain them well in a colander.
Step 2
Prepare for cooking. In a large pot, add 1 cup of water and bring it to a boil. Once the water is bubbling vigorously, put on a pair of clean kitchen gloves and gently crush each grape berry with your fingers. This action helps to release the grape’s juice, making for a more flavorful end product.
Step 3
Now, let’s get cooking! First, boil the mixture over high heat for about 5 minutes until it’s bubbling rapidly. Then, reduce the heat to medium and simmer for another 20 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and deepen. Let the mixture cool down slightly. Once it’s cool enough to handle, strain the cooked grapes through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing gently to extract all the delicious grape essence. Discard the pulp.
Step 4
Pour your freshly made grape juice into clean, sterilized glass bottles. Store them in the refrigerator. Serving this juice chilled is incredibly refreshing, especially on a warm day, and it’s a wonderfully healthy treat for everyone. Enjoy your homemade goodness!
