Homemade Delicious Seasoned Dried Squid Recipe
Golden Recipe for Marinating ‘Seasoned Dried Squid’ Made with Semi-Dried Squid
You know how just one delicious side dish like jeotgal can make a whole meal, right? This time, I’ve made seasoned dried squid! ^^
Ingredients- 1 semi-dried squid
- 1 Cheongyang chili pepper
- 1 clove garlic
Marinade- 1 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp cheongju (rice wine)
- 1/2 tsp ginger powder
Seasoning Sauce- 2 Tbsp red chili flakes
- 2 Tbsp oligosaccharide
- 2 Tbsp plum extract
- 1/2 tsp ginger powder
- 1 Tbsp perilla oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp cheongju (rice wine)
- 1/2 tsp ginger powder
Seasoning Sauce- 2 Tbsp red chili flakes
- 2 Tbsp oligosaccharide
- 2 Tbsp plum extract
- 1/2 tsp ginger powder
- 1 Tbsp perilla oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Remove the transparent bone from the back of the squid and peel off the skin.
Step 2
Pat the squid dry with paper towels.
Step 3
Slice the squid into long, thin strips.
Step 4
For the squid marinade, add 1 tsp of salt.
Step 5
Add 2 Tbsp of cheongju (or cooking wine).
Step 6
Add 1/2 tsp of ginger powder, mix well by massaging with your hands, and marinate in the refrigerator for 8 hours.
Step 7
For the squid seasoning sauce, add 2 Tbsp of red chili flakes.
Step 8
Add 2 Tbsp of oligosaccharide.
Step 9
Add 2 Tbsp of plum extract.
Step 10
Add 1/2 tsp of ginger powder.
Step 11
Add 1 Tbsp of perilla oil.
Step 12
Add 1 tsp of sesame seeds and mix thoroughly. Store this sauce in the refrigerator as well.
Step 13
After 8 hours, combine the marinated squid with the seasoning sauce.
Step 14
Add 1 whole clove of garlic (minced if desired).
Step 15
Add 1 Cheongyang chili pepper, chopped. Mix everything together and refrigerate for another day to further mature before serving.
