Main Ingredients- 2 small potatoes
- 100g beef
- 1/2 onion
- 3 mini king oyster mushrooms
- 2 eggs
- Pinch of salt
- 1 Tbsp cooking oil
- 2 Tbsp spaghetti sauce
- Generous amount of pizza cheese
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Thinly slice the 100g of beef into strips. While it’s good to simply stir-fry it, marinating it with a bit of pepper and soju before stir-frying will remove any gamey smell and enhance the flavor.
Step 2
While you prepare the other vegetables, peel the 2 potatoes and cut them into thin strips. Soak the potato strips in cold water for a while to remove excess starch, then drain them; this prevents them from clumping together when stir-fried.
Step 3
Finely chop the 1/2 onion. Wash and thinly slice the 3 mini king oyster mushrooms.
Step 4
Heat 1 Tbsp of cooking oil in a pan. Add the drained potato strips and stir-fry until they become translucent. Season with a pinch of salt and a bit of white pepper as you stir-fry.
Step 5
In a bowl, crack the 2 eggs and add a pinch of salt. Beat the eggs well, ensuring you break the chalaza (the stringy part). Beating the eggs thoroughly makes the resulting omelet pizza much more tender and smoother, as it acts as a binder instead of flour.
Step 6
Once the eggs are well beaten, add the stir-fried potatoes, chopped onion, and sliced mushrooms to the egg mixture. Mix everything evenly to combine.
Step 7
Lightly coat a clean pan with cooking oil. Pour the egg and vegetable mixture into the pan and cook until golden brown on both sides, like making an omelet.
Step 8
Check that both sides of the omelet pizza are nicely browned.
Step 9
Carefully transfer the well-cooked omelet pizza to a large serving plate.
Step 10
Spread 2 Tbsp of spaghetti sauce evenly over the omelet pizza. If you prefer, you can use steak sauce for a different, delicious flavor.
Step 11
Arrange the stir-fried beef strips you prepared earlier on top of the sauce.
Step 12
Finally, sprinkle a generous amount of pizza cheese over the top. Place the prepared pizza in the microwave for about 1 minute and 30 seconds to 2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. (You can also use an oven or air fryer.)
Step 13
This finished Potato Omelet Pizza, served with fruits, milk, or coffee you have at home, makes for an excellent breakfast alternative.
Step 14
Cut it into serving portions and bring it to the table. It’s a perfect and satisfying meal alternative for students with picky appetites, busy office workers, and teenagers.
Step 15
You won’t be able to stop after one bite! Doesn’t it look delicious? *^^*
