- 1 onion
- 1 large handful of oyster mushrooms
- 3 king oyster mushrooms
- 6-7 leaves of winter greens (e.g., bok choy, napa cabbage leaves)
Seasoning Sauce- 2 Tbsp soy sauce for soup (guk-ganjang)
- 1.5 Tbsp gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
- 1/2 Tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1/2 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp plum extract (maesil-cheong)
- 2 cups anchovy broth (approx. 400ml)
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce for soup (guk-ganjang)
- 1.5 Tbsp gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
- 1/2 Tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1/2 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp plum extract (maesil-cheong)
- 2 cups anchovy broth (approx. 400ml)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the store-bought kimchi dumpling filling you’ll use for making the dumplings. (You can also buy the filling separately or mash up existing kimchi dumplings.)

Lightly moisten the edges of a large round dumpling wrapper with water. Generously fill it with the prepared kimchi dumpling filling. Carefully seal the edges of the wrapper, then bring the two ends together and press to create a plump kimchi king dumpling. Ensure the seal is tight to prevent bursting!
