Easy Chicken and Soybean Sprout Rice Recipe Using Your Rice Cooker
This chicken and soybean sprout rice is so nutritious, it’s even great for baby food. Enjoy a simple, delicious, and wholesome meal!
Main Ingredients- 2 cups rice
- 1 piece chicken breast (approx. 100-150g)
- 40g soybean sprouts
- 1 pack enoki mushrooms (approx. 100g)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, rinse the rice thoroughly and drain it in a sieve. Finely chop the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces or mince it. Remove the base of the enoki mushrooms and either tear them into larger pieces or chop them. Rinse the soybean sprouts under running water and drain well.
Step 2
Pour the rinsed rice into the inner pot of your rice cooker. Add 2 cups of water, matching the amount of rice. (It’s generally recommended to use slightly less water than you would for plain rice).
Step 3
Arrange the chopped chicken breast, enoki mushrooms, and rinsed soybean sprouts evenly over the rice and water in the rice cooker. Close the lid without mixing the ingredients, then press the ‘Cook’ button to start cooking. You can use the standard white rice cooking mode.
