  • Ground beef (as much as you like, approx. 100g)
  • Mushrooms (a small amount, your choice)
  • Broccoli (a small amount, cut into small florets)
  • Bell pepper (a small amount, colorful varieties recommended)
  • 1 bowl of leftover cooked rice (approx. 200g)

Seasoning

  • 1/2 Tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)

First, let’s prepare the main ingredients for our fried rice. Finely chop any leftover vegetables in your fridge, such as mushrooms, broccoli, and bell peppers. Thinly slice the garlic. If you don’t have ground beef, diced canned ham also makes a delicious substitute.

Heat some cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown and fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic; the goal is to infuse the oil with its aroma.

Once the garlic is fragrant, add the ground beef to the pan. Break it up with your spatula and stir-fry until it’s nicely browned and cooked through.
