Batter and Egg Mixture Ingredients- 3 Eggs
- 1/3 tsp Salt
- 1 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese
- A pinch of Black Pepper
Filling Ingredients- 1 Potato (medium size)
- 2 Chicken Breast Sausages (Cheongyang Pepper flavor recommended)
- 1 Potato (medium size)
- 2 Chicken Breast Sausages (Cheongyang Pepper flavor recommended)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, peel and thoroughly wash the potato. Finely julienne it, then mince it into small pieces. Avoid mincing it too finely to retain a slight texture.
Step 2
In a bowl, crack 3 eggs. Add 1/3 tsp of salt, 1 Tbsp of Parmesan cheese, and a pinch of black pepper to your preference. Whisk everything together until well combined to create the egg mixture. The Parmesan cheese adds a wonderful depth of flavor.
Step 3
Melt 1 piece of butter in a heated pan over medium-low heat. Add about half of the minced potato and sauté until softened and lightly browned, being careful not to burn it. Once the potato is tender, pour in half of the prepared egg mixture and spread it evenly. Cook until the edges begin to set but the center is still slightly wet before proceeding to the next step.
Step 4
Gently place the pre-blanched chicken breast sausages (Cheongyang Pepper flavor) along the edge of the slightly cooked egg mixture. This ensures the sausages are heated through and complement the overall dish.
Step 5
When the egg mixture is about 70% cooked (still slightly wet on top), carefully and slowly roll it up starting from the edge with the sausage. Rolling too tightly might cause it to break, so a gentle, slow roll will create a beautiful shape. Using chopsticks or a spatula can make rolling easier.
Step 6
Once rolled, slice the hot bar into desired portions and thread them onto wooden skewers. Drizzle with ketchup or sriracha sauce to your liking. This makes a fantastic snack for kids or a delicious appetizer for adults.
