Main Ingredients
- Suvidream Pure Chicken Breast 1 pack (thawed)
- Store-bought Pad Thai Sauce 80g (adjust to taste)
- Dried Rice Noodles 70g
- Frozen Shrimp 4-5 pieces (thawed)
- Fresh Bean Sprouts 1 handful (approx. 50g)
- Bok Choy 1 head
- Scallion 1/2 stalk
- Onion 1/2
- Fresh Garlic 4 cloves
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients needed for your delicious Chicken Breast Pad Thai. Using fresh ingredients will enhance the overall flavor.
Step 2
Soak the dried rice noodles in boiling water for about 3-5 minutes, or in lukewarm water for 10-15 minutes. Be careful not to oversoak, as they might break apart during stir-frying.
Step 3
Thaw the sous-vide chicken breast and then shred it along the grain into bite-sized pieces. Shredding it coarsely will provide a better texture.
Step 4
Finely chop the scallions. Lightly crush the garlic cloves with the side of a knife and then mince them. The garlic aroma will add depth to the dish.
Step 5
Peel and thinly slice the onion. Wash the bok choy thoroughly, separate the leaves and stems, and chop them into bite-sized pieces. The stems will offer a crisper texture.
Step 6
Heat 2-3 tablespoons of cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped scallions and stir-fry until fragrant. The aromatic scent of garlic and scallions will whet your appetite.
Step 7
Add the thawed shrimp and sliced onions to the pan. Stir-fry until the shrimp turn pink and the onions become translucent. Stir-frying quickly over high heat prevents the ingredients from losing moisture and ensures a delicious taste.
Step 8
Once the shrimp are cooked, add the pre-soaked rice noodles and Pad Thai sauce to the pan. Stir and cook for 1-2 minutes, ensuring the sauce coats the noodles evenly.
Step 9
Finally, add the prepared bok choy, bean sprouts, and shredded chicken breast. Stir-fry quickly over high heat for only 30 seconds to 1 minute, just until the vegetables are slightly wilted. Since the chicken breast is pre-cooked, avoid overcooking.
Step 10
Serve the well-stir-fried Chicken Breast Pad Thai attractively in a bowl. For an enhanced flavor, you can garnish with crushed peanuts or cilantro, according to your preference. Enjoy your meal!
