Main Ingredients- 5 eggplants
- 1 Tbsp red chili flakes (gochugaru)
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce (yangjo ganjang)
- 1 Tbsp Korean soy sauce (joseon ganjang)
- 0.5 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- A little chopped green onion
- A little sugar (optional)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, thoroughly wash 5 eggplants under running water. Remove the stems and cut the eggplants lengthwise into 3-4 pieces. This helps to preserve the texture of the eggplant and allows the seasoning to be absorbed well.

Now it’s time to grill the prepared eggplants. Heat a frying pan over medium heat without adding any oil, and place the eggplant pieces to grill until they are golden brown on both sides.
