♥ [Newlywed’s Table] Outback Steakhouse Style Toowoomba Ramen
Enjoy Outback Steakhouse’s signature dish at home! It’s a ramen makeover that’s surprisingly elegant. Wow, so fancy! LOL. Today, you’re the chef! ☆
Ingredients- 1 packet Ramen noodles
- 2 slices Processed cheese
- 1/2 Onion
- 5 cloves Garlic
- 3-4 Mushrooms (e.g., button mushrooms)
- 200ml Milk
- 50ml Heavy cream
- 1 swirl Cooking oil
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare the vegetables that will add flavor to your Toowoomba Ramen. Thinly slice or mince the garlic cloves. Slice the onion into half-moons. Clean the mushrooms and quarter them or slice them into bite-sized pieces.
Step 2
Fill a pot with plenty of water for the ramen and bring it to a boil over high heat. Meanwhile, heat a deep pan over low heat. Add a swirl of cooking oil, then add the sliced garlic and onions. Sauté slowly without burning until fragrant. Cook until the garlic is golden brown and the onions are translucent.
Step 3
Once the garlic and onions release their aroma, add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and sauté them together. For a richer meal, feel free to add your favorite toppings like bacon, shrimp, or chicken breast and sauté them as well.
Step 4
When the water boils, add the ramen noodles and cook for about 1-2 minutes less than the package instructions. While the noodles are cooking, pour the 200ml of milk and 50ml of heavy cream into the pan with the sautéed vegetables. Keep the heat on low and create the cream sauce.
Step 5
Add half of the ramen soup base packet to the cream sauce and stir well to dissolve. (Adjust the amount of soup base to your preference; it might be too salty if you add it all at once.) Continue to stir and simmer the sauce to prevent lumps.
Step 6
Drain the cooked noodles slightly and add them directly to the pan with the cream sauce. Reduce the heat to low, then add the 2 slices of processed cheese, cut into large pieces. Gently stir and mix the noodles with the sauce until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
Step 7
Finally, season with black pepper to taste. Transfer the finished Toowoomba Ramen to a beautiful serving bowl. Sprinkle some dried parsley flakes on top for a beautiful presentation. Enjoy this special, homemade Toowoomba Ramen right in your own home!
