Ingredients- 8 Whole wheat crackers
- 4 Squares of chocolate (milk or dark chocolate recommended)
- 4 Large marshmallows
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare 8 whole wheat crackers. Place one square of chocolate on top of each cracker. It’s best if the chocolate isn’t too thick. Set the crackers with chocolate aside for a moment.
Step 2
We’ll lightly melt the chocolate. Arrange the whole wheat crackers with chocolate on a microwave-safe plate and heat for about 1 minute (at 600W). It’s enough when the edges of the chocolate just start to melt. Be careful not to overheat, as it can make the crackers tough.
Step 3
Now it’s time to toast the marshmallows. Skewer 4 marshmallows onto a long fork or skewer. Hold them over a medium-low gas flame, rotating them slowly. Toast until they are golden brown and puffed up, looking deliciously toasted. Keep an eye on the heat to prevent burning.
Step 4
Carefully place the warmly toasted marshmallow on top of the slightly melted chocolate on the cracker. Then, gently cover it with another whole wheat cracker. Press down lightly; this helps the marshmallow spread beautifully, creating the perfect s’mores cookie. Enjoy immediately while it’s warm for the best taste!
