  • 2 tsp Grated Parmesan Cheese (adds a rich flavor)
  • 1 tsp Sugar (a touch of sweetness enhances the savory notes)
  • 3-4 Pinches of Coarse Sea Salt (adjust to your taste)

Cooking Instructions

First, prepare the 3 king oyster mushrooms after washing them thoroughly. Trim the very bottom of the stems and then cut each mushroom in half lengthwise. Aim for pieces that are not too thin, so they maintain a pleasant texture when cooked.

Lay the halved mushrooms flat and make several shallow cuts across the surface. This scoring allows the sauce to penetrate deeply into the mushroom, resulting in a much more flavorful dish. Make cuts about 2-3mm apart, resembling a lattice or cross-hatch pattern.

Place the 30g of butter in a microwave-safe dish and melt it. This usually takes about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Ensure the butter is completely melted before proceeding.
